What is passive fire protection?

Passive fire protection is built into the structure of a building. Installed in walls, floors and ceilings, it divides the building into compartments and is designed to restrict the growth of a fire and slow its spread.

It helps limit damage to the building and its contents, keeps smoke more contained, and helps keep escape routes clear.

Not sure which service you need?

If you have been given a report or schedule of defects, you do not need to translate it into a service name before contacting us. Tell us about the building and the recommendations you have received. We can discuss whether the work falls within our scope and what information is needed next.

Fire door requirements

We work with a separate company for fire door requirements. If fire doors form part of your project, mention this when you enquire so we can discuss the appropriate route.

Have a project or remedial works requirement to discuss?

Tell us about the building, its location and the work you need. If you already have a report, drawings or a schedule of works, mention them in your enquiry so we can discuss the next step.
