We, Dc Fire Protection install Fire Barriers all across the UK, along with a variety of other Passive Fire Protection.

Fire Barriers come in many forms, they can be part of the actual structure being walls, floors and ceilings.
While others may be non structural enclosures or partitions.

Interior walls that extend from the floor to floor, or floor to roof, including concealed spaces.

They are designed to divide area’s of the building, and then can be supported by structures.
For instance such as roofs, columns or floors.

Curtains can also be fitted along with fire barriers.

Above all of this materials are also used, for sealing up spaces around fire barriers and penetrations e.g pipes, cables such as trunking and conduits.

All support structures should have a fire-resistant rating no less than that of the fire barrier they support.

Fire barriers restrict the initial flow of heat within the area of origin.
As a result, ensuring building occupants to have adequate time in evacuating the building.
Without a doubt ensuring and protecting the safety of people’s lives. 

And moreover preventing the chance of less damage to the building too, if there ever was a fire to occur. 

These walls will typically have a two hour fire‐resistance rating.
